Summary of the Call Center Customer Service Representative
We are seeking candidates that will go above and beyond to meet our customers’ needs. The Call Center Agent will assist customers by providing product/service information and resolving any emerging problems that our customer accounts might face with accuracy and efficiency. The Call Center Agent will ensure excellent service standards, respond efficiently to customer inquiries and maintain high customer satisfaction.
Responsibilities of the Call Center Customer Service Representative
- Manage large amounts of incoming calls
- Identify and assess customers’ needs to achieve satisfaction
- Provide accurate, valid and complete information by using the right methods/tools
- Meet personal/customer service team call handling quotas
- Handle customer complaints, provide appropriate solutions and alternatives within the time limits; follow up to ensure resolution
- Keep records of customer interactions, process customer accounts and file documents
- Follow communication procedures, guidelines and policies
- Take the extra mile to engage customers
Qualifications of the Call Center Customer Service Representative
- Good computer skills and attention to detail
- Ability to anticipate customer needs and problem solve
- Telephone etiquette and active listening
- Customer orientation and ability to adapt/respond to different situations
- Excellent communication and ability to empathize
- Ability to multi-task, prioritize, and manage time effectively
- Pass a drug test and criminal background check
