Abel Personnel is looking for a Dispatch and Scale Operator for our client in Harrisburg. This is a hands-on job in a fast-paced environment where you'll help manage logistics and material handling.

What You'll Do:
- Weigh incoming and outgoing trucks and keep detailed records.
- Experience with Excel (bonus points if you know Rimas or similar software!).
- Communicate with drivers and yard operators using CB radios and company radios.
- Monitor materials to ensure compliance with acceptance policies.
- Work with dispatchers and yard personnel to keep operations running smoothly.
- Assist in dispatching truck orders to maintain efficiency.
- Provide great customer service to drivers, vendors, and customers.
What You Bring:
- Attention to detail and accuracy.
- Experience with Excel; knowledge of Rimas is a plus.
- You're comfortable communicating via email, phone, and radio systems (both CB and two-way).
- You’re not afraid to roll up your sleeves—this is a more hands-on role.
- Your customer service skills are top-notch.
- Good communication skills via email, phone, and radio.
- Reliable and available to work Monday–Friday, from 6:45 AM to 4:15 PM.
