Key Responsibilities
- Prepare, draft, and file court documents (petitions, pleadings, motions)
- Manage and organize case files, including document summaries and indexing
- Conduct legal research
- Monitor and track court deadlines and filings
- Communicate with opposing counsel, clients, and court personnel
- Assist attorneys in hearings, trials, and pre-litigation case resolutions
- Prepare and respond to discovery requests
- Provide administrative support, including scheduling, digital transcription, and calendar management
Requirements
- Bachelor’s/Associate’s degree in paralegal studies or related field
- 5+ years of experience as a litigation paralegal (personal injury experience preferred)
- Familiarity with federal, state, and local civil procedure rules and e-filing
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite and legal software
- Strong organizational and communication skills
- Ability to work independently, multitask, and remain calm under pressure
