Abel Personnel’s client is seeking a highly organized and detail-oriented individual to join their team as an entry-level Administrative Assistant. This part-time position will work Tuesday, Wednesday and Thursday 9-530pm, with a :30 lunch - making it an ideal opportunity for someone looking to balance work with other commitments.
Job Responsibilities:
Office Management:
- Answer and direct phone calls efficiently.
- Manage schedules and calendars.
- Organize and maintain files and records.
- Order office supplies and handle inventory management.
Communication:
- Draft, proofread, and send correspondence.
- Coordinate meetings, appointments, and events.
- Greet and assist visitors with a friendly and professional demeanor.
Administrative Support:
- Prepare reports, presentations, and documents.
- Handle data entry and database management.
- Perform basic bookkeeping, some to include, collecting payments, invoicing customers, managing maintenance requests.
Customer Service:
- Provide excellent service to clients and colleagues.
- Address inquiries and resolve issues promptly and effectively.
- Professionalism
Skills and Qualifications:
- Technical Skills: Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Outlook). Familiarity with office equipment (printers, fax machines, etc.).
- Organizational Skills: Ability to manage multiple tasks and prioritize effectively. Strong attention to detail.
- Communication Skills: Excellent verbal and written communication. Professional demeanor and interpersonal skills.
- Problem-Solving Skills: Ability to address issues and find solutions independently.
