About the Role
As a Patient Coordinator, you will be the first point of contact for patients, ensuring they receive professional and compassionate service from check-in to check-out. This role is essential in maintaining a welcoming and efficient office environment.
Key Responsibilities
- Greet and assist patients with professionalism and warmth
- Handle check-ins, check-outs, and appointment scheduling
- Process insurance authorizations and billing accurately
- Maintain an organized and welcoming reception area
- Answer and direct phone calls in a courteous and efficient manner
- Ensure a positive patient experience at every interaction
Qualifications
- Strong customer service and communication skills
- Ability to multitask and stay organized in a fast-paced environment
- Problem-solving mindset with the ability to remain calm under pressure
- Team-oriented approach with a commitment to professionalism
- High school diploma or equivalent required (Medical billing/coding experience is a plus)
- CPSS certification is preferred but can be earned on the job
